How would you like these in your garden

Postby NigelWaring » Fri Apr 09, 2010 2:06 am

A couple of Australian Bush Turkeys wandered through our garden. They are a protected bird so you have to just tolerate them. They have huge claws and can scratch a lot looking for insects. The could wreck a flower bed in a few moments.

These snaps were taken through our front windows so they are not very sharp. I was so pleased when the birds did decide to walk away.

I do chase them away that's probably why they look like they are dancing. One of these can wreck a garden in about twenty minutes, their claws are very effective at scratching.
